"Soon"

Just wanted to share a song that really gave me a glimpse of the someday that I long for. I had a moment in the car yesterday of brief but intense longing for home, not my physical earthly home, but my heavenly home. I don't usually cry much but this song by Brooke Fraser and the Hillsong United band called "Soon" really got to me. This song describes how I've been feeling recently. I'm feeling like I've been spending a lot of time in the valley here lately, and although I know I can't live on the mountain I'm ready for a visit to recharge. At the very least I'm ready to start the long hard climb up the mountain. I guess the strain and struggle to reach the top sometimes is what makes reaching the top that much sweeter. I just need to remember not to try and climb without the spirits lead. Anyway, my bags are packed...
